To set a career is always deep rooted with what you actually get throughout your education. But more over it is a choice depending upon your ambiences, aptitude, passion and talent.

Education system is one of the most influential institutions. Education seems doomed to be a field plagued with paradoxes and contradiction. On one hand, the conviction that education is important and school resources must be improved is, fortunately, on the rise. On the other hand, confusions and discontent grow before the undeniable failure of teaching institutions on too many occasions. It is through this system a student builds up their stand on mending a meaningful life. To opt a career for a student is not that easy not only because it’s just a matter of choice, but also it depends on the “system” they went through. Now this very system itself has its own limitations and restrictions to focus on the real objectives of education. Education itself is for socializing one’s own. Socialization of education can simply state that helps to maintain society by socializing young people into key cultural values, such as achievement, equality of opportunity, social solidarity, democracy, and religious morality. Opting career is mostly related to how much passion you have towards your motive that has driven you throughout your education. If education has given you nothing, then career choices would remain for status symbols or numbers. Your passion, interests determine what you wants to be. The school is the basic place where groups of individuals from wide ranging and different social circles come together. The dominant social culture as well as the economic and political context, to which the school belongs, dilutes the human exchanges that occur within it. Thus the contradictions that we find in the different demands of that social culture characterize the human exchanges within the school, as well.

Nowadays, competitions among the students are so high that they never have an interest or passion instead they are forced and focused to be in the race. Because of which they will have to choose a career exactly opposite to their taste and aptitude. Unfortunately the medicine and engineering maniacs still remain among us. Children are taught to be nothing better than a doctor and an engineer as if only these two can bring out prosperity, money and position in the society. This creates an impression on how people are obsessed with having only a job or degrees or a name. And also it denies the original representation of people from that field.

As one grows up, he/she comes under many kinds of external pressure or influences. Pressure from parents is the major hinder that can’t be passed through so easily. Parents are the strongest supporting system for any child’s growth, at the same time; they themselves are the ones to spoil it too. For any parents wish to see their children to reach in a better position and creates more imaginations even if the kids can’t handle it. Most of the time it is their suppressed desires that they enforce on their children. Parents must only facilitate the desires of their children by grasping their perspectives.

Students should not be influenced by the careers of their parents or peer groups. It should not be surprising that teachers at times play a role in misleading a child’s career. Teachers become profound enough towards their students and taboo a career on them, which may actually not even taste their ability. They can be inspiring too. As they are one among the main forces to mould up a better career for their students.

Career is not mere an activity to earn money, instead, it is to pursue a lifelong ambition or is a general course of progression towards lifelong goals. Happiness accruing from job satisfaction in a career is far more important than earning potential. So schools must be acting as first step for the career setting of a student. Career must not build up only for the namesake of getting a job, it is a social responsibility through which we may develop humanism, rational thinking, and strong minds. As now, the major dilemma student face is to overpower money with their passion. Money is not a substitute for the satisfaction in opting the right choice of your life. Any career must have a definite social purpose as education. Working for money makes you inefficient. It is a process where your strength and potential must reflect. So that must never hold back you, instead redeem yourself.
The first step to setting goals is simply to get crystal clear on what exactly it is that you want. Make sure that your efforts will actually take you in the direction of where you ultimately want to end up. For example, if you are setting professional goals, you have to make sure that each action will lead to professional advancement. Next step would be to decide which goals will actively move you forward on your career path. Once you have identified what it is you want, next is to create goals to achieve that outcome.

You career must be able to be productive, forward thinking individuals and much informative to the world around them. Regardless of your reasons, the right career is out there for everyone. By learning how to research options, realize your strengths, and acquire new skills, as well as muster the courage to make a change, you can discover the career that’s right for you.
