I am the voice of every Muslim woman,
Who has come forth, as a result of this unjust summon.
And do not blame me if I’m ready to fight,
Because you are the one trying to shatter my right.
Hijab has always been my honour and it still is,
Don’t delude yourself thinking I can be shaken by a holler like this.
What equality do you talk about?
When you walk with a judgmental mind, being so proud!
So enough of this utter deception!
This systematic oppression and communalist action!
Such a shame that a piece of cloth,
Is being used to dismantle the constitution,
And to snatch away the right of a woman, to practice her religion.
You talk of uniformity and evenness,
But it’s just a disguise for the evilness, of your lust and desire,
You chose the road of deceitfulness.
Not even a flinch when a woman walks naked and bare,
You call that her right as you stare,
Is it because that feeds your lust, for all you care?
But not me!
I won’t allow you to have a stare,
So do not scare me with those hateful glares,
You don’t get to decide what I can or cannot wear.
