Waiting for judgement Zakaria completed his eight year in jail in February 2017. Zakaria is just one of the thousands of people who are waiting for their judgement in prison.
The terror cases and the arrests made in the name of War on Terror are major tool to victimize a community in particular. Law had been used to violate the basic human rights of it’s own citizens. UAPA (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act) provides justification for such a crime over innocent people branded and fabricated under terrorist cases.
The documentary film produced by Cave Man Productions in association with Dalit Camera is a wonderful effort in this regard. The story of Zakaria is about the one who was betrayed by the system once he believed in.
