Condemning the encounter killings of eight alleged SIMI activists in Bhopal, Aligarh Muslim University Students Union staged a protest March and demanded that supreme Court monitor judicial probe into the matter.
The students took out a procession march from Maulana Azad Library to Bab-a-Syed gate demanding a fair enquiry against the  fake encounter.
Addressing the protesting students, AMU students Union President Faizul Hasan said  that since the NDA government came to power ‘Muslims are being wrongly targeted’. He also said that by targeting ‘innocents’ the present government was weakening the fight against terror.
AMU students believe the best way to fight terror “was to take a stand against injustice wherever it takes place”, he said while offering his sympathies to the family of the police constable who was also killed in the Bhopal jail break.img_20161102_182421
